Jenna Jennings

I was born and raised in rural Jasper County and graduated from Grinnell-Newburg
High School. After graduating I attended AIB College of Business and majored in
Accounting.

I started my career in 2011 in the Auditor’s Office as a Real Estate Clerk. Although I
loved working with the maps and diving into tricky surveys my true passion was in
finance, so I moved across the hall to become the Payroll Clerk. I became the Jasper
County Auditor in January 2023 and although I was reluctant to take the position, I was
ready for the challenge. I truly have enjoyed all the diversity that comes with being an
Auditor. No two days ever look the same!

My husband, Brett, and I have two kids, Brooklyn and Garrett. Both keep us busy in
sports and in our free time we love to camp and trail ride with our horses and 2 dogs,
Luna and Bailey. Our goal every year is to spend at least 30 nights in the camper and
so far, we have been successful! Growing up on a farm is something I have always
cherished, and we are continuing that tradition with our kids as we farm alongside my
parents and brother. My favorite time is harvest and calving season.
